The Grand Ole Opry, a cornerstone of country music history, marked its 100th birthday in grand style with a spectacular television special. The Opry 100 TV special, which aired on NBC on March 19 at 8/7c, was a night to remember, featuring an all-star lineup of performers, special guests, and a dazzling red carpet event.
A Night of Unforgettable Performances
The milestone event brought together some of country music’s biggest legends and rising stars. The performance lineup included iconic artists such as Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson, Eric Church, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Vince Gill, and Blake Shelton. Adding to the excitement, Shelton took on the role of host, guiding the audience through a night of music and celebration.
The event was further enriched with appearances from country greats Scotty McCreery, Randy Travis, Barbara Mandrell, Bill Anderson, and more. Their presence paid tribute to the Opry’s long-standing legacy and its role in shaping country music.
Before the stars took the stage, they stepped out onto the red carpet, which kicked off at 6:30/5:30c.
